Pflugerville FC Bids Farewell to the Class of 2023

This past May, Pflugerville FC honored players from the graduating class of 2023 during their first annual Senior Night! Seniors from PFC’s 2005B Green team, 2005G Green team, and 2005G Blue team came out to celebrate and support their fellow teammates. A special thanks to Coach Yossef Al-Mashouq and Coach Glenn Kewley for recognizing the contributions of each player that night. Please help us in congratulating all of these extraordinary individuals!


PFlugerville fC Class of 2023

Michael Stokes

Michael is a graduate of Hendrickson High School. After graduation, he plans to attend college in New York City and major in system engineering. When asked what he liked best about playing for PFC, Michael responded, “I like that I had the experience of traveling and playing soccer all over, helping out with coaching, helping the younger ones to get better, and also making friends in the club.” What advice would he give to our younger PFC players? “Have fun in the club. Be yourself and know what you are capable of.”

Faith Woodall

Faith completed her high school studies through her homeschool program and has post-graduation plans of attending Dallas Baptist University. What she loved best about PFC was to be coached by Coach Glenn. To our younger players, Faith advised, “With soccer, you have to work hard but also find ways to have fun with it too,” and to her always supportive coaches, “Thank you for all the years of fun play! PFC is truly a family. Coach Yossef and Coach Martin even changed my flat tire once!”

Sophia Newell

Sophia is a graduate of Hendrickson High School. In the fall, she plans to attend Clemson University in South Carolina. What did she like best about playing for PFC? “The opportunity to practice and the interactions I had with my coaches.” Her advice to our younger players is, “Put in the work. It will be worth it.”

Aden Al-Mashouq

Aden is a graduate of Hendrickson High School. Post-graduation, he plans on attending Blinn College in Brenham and playing in their soccer program. What he enjoyed most about playing for PFC was the family feel of the club. “I always felt really connected with my teammates through the 8+ years I’ve played there.” His advice to our current PFC players, “Continue working harder when you’re young because you’re going to wish you took it more seriously when you get older.”

Kevin Ramirez

Kevin is a graduate of Del Valle High School. His post-graduation plan is to attend Austin Community College. Reflecting on his time with PFC, “I loved the coaches and my teammates when I first joined. I felt like I fit right in because they were so welcoming.” His advice to our younger players is, “Show up to every practice even when you don’t feel like it.”

Emanuel Bekalu

Emanuel is a graduate of Hendrickson High School. After graduation, he plans on attending the University of North Texas in Denton. Regarding his time at PFC, he said, “I liked how the team felt like a real family,” and to those who want to pursue soccer through high school, “Play like there’s no tomorrow because eventually there won’t be a tomorrow for you to play. Don’t waste your time. If you’re serious, take it seriously right now.”

Youness Elfath

Youness is a graduate of NYOS Charter School in Austin. Post graduation, he plans on attending the University of North Texas in Denton. What he appreciated the most about PFC was the sense of camaraderie amongst his teammates. To our younger players, Youness advised, “Stick with the team. Take advantage of all the coaches.”

Santiago Gonzalez

Santiago graduated from East View High School in Georgetown. After graduation, he plans on attending the University of Texas at Austin. What he liked best about PFC was the coaching staff, especially Coach Yossef. His message to our younger players is, “It’s never too late to work on your weaker foot.”

Jonathan Choxom

Jonathan is a graduate of Connally High School. After graduation, he plans on attending Austin Community College. His best memory of PFC is the time he spent with his team. His advice to all our younger players, “Just keep trying to work for what you think is best. Never give up!”

Evan Abbott

Evan is a graduate of Hendrickson High School. He has plans of attending Austin Community College after graduation. During his time at PFC, he enjoyed playing and growing with his teammates through the years he played there. His message to our younger players is, “Show up to practice on time and put in the work.”

Edson Carbajal

Edson completed his high school studies with the homeschool program, K12.com. Post graduation, he plans on attending Austin Community College. What he loved best about PFC was the environment. He remarked, “Everyone worked hard but never forgot to have a good time.” His advice to our younger players is, “Enjoy your time, have fun, and try to improve in at least one aspect of your game every practice.”

Harish Eakambaram

Harish is a graduate of Weiss High School. After graduation, he plans on attending the University of Texas at Austin. What he liked most about his time at PFC were the friendships and camaraderie within the team. To our younger players, Harish says, “Have fun!”
