Program Purpose

Pflugerville FC Academy provides a premier youth development program for 8U, 9U, and 10U players. We also have our Junior Academy program for players 6U–7U. The program is designed for players who desire advanced training from the PFC professional staff. The Academy program emphasizes developing the complete player in all 4 pillars of the game including: technical, tactical, physical, and psychological, and is a stepping stone into our Select program. All Academy players are expected to demonstrate focus, and a willingness to compete and develop.

2020 - 6U | PFC Junior Academy

2019 - 7U | PFC Junior Academy

2018 - 8U | PFC Academy

2017 - 9U | PFC Academy

2016 - 10U | PFC Academy

Player Registration & PlayMetrics

To register for the PFC Academy program you must first attending our regular Player Placement Event in May, of one of our supplemental Observation sessions. Once your child has been observed, and if there is a roster spot available on a team that matches their skill level, you will be sent the invitation to register for the program and purchase a custom uniform kit.

Pflugerville FC is excited to announce that for all future programming, we will be using PlayMetrics to manage all club functions including program registrations, team schedules, club-wide communication, player IDPs, and more! In order to register for any programs or events, you will need to create an account. For help with this process, please use these quick start guides in English or Spanish.

DETAILS (2025/26 SEASON)

This program is for our 8U, 9U, and 10U competitors! The goal of our Academy program is to continue to introduce competitive soccer ideas while maintaining a lifelong love of the game!

Included in the Registration Fees

  • CAYSA Academy League play for Fall and Spring which uses “block scheduling”.

    • 2 matches per weekend for up to 16 matches each season.

    • Some U10 teams may have the opportunity to play up to the Select leagues early.

  • 2x-3x practices per week

  • Professional and licensed coaches. See coach bios here

  • 2-3 included tournaments

  • Individual Development Plan (IDP) which may include additional playing opportunities

  • Goalkeeper training program

  • Player insurance

  • Field rentals (indoor and outdoor) and maintenance

  • Coach travel

  • Green and Blue teams continue training over the Winter off-season at an indoor facility

  • Green and Blue teams will participate in a Winter indoor soccer league.

Additional Cost

  • Puma uniform kits.

  • Additional tournaments/showcases

  • Individual travel costs including hotels, flights, rental cars, gas, and food etc.

  • Personal equipment (cleats, shin guards, water bottles, soccer ball, etc.)

  • Camps or clinics

* Pricing tiers per team are subject to change based on the level of the individual team. Please refer to your invitation for details.

* Pflugerville FC depends on volunteers to help run events throughout the year. By committing to the team, you are agreeing to volunteer 3 hours of your time to the club, or the volunteer buyout is $40 per player in Academy.
