“Coach Alexis” has been coaching soccer for 2 years and is starting her 1st season with PFC! She’s had the opportunity to assist with youth training sessions and camps, where she focused on developing technical fundamentals, encouraging teamwork, and creating a positive environment. She’s also stayed involved in youth development by coaching at G-Force camps in Georgetown, and helping coach and referee recreational leagues at Brushy Creek. Her experience as a player helps her connect with athletes on a deeper level, and she loves being able to give back to the game by helping the next generation improve and enjoy it as much as she does. Her favorite part of coaching is watching players grow, both on and off the field. It’s incredibly rewarding to see their confidence build as they develop new skills, learn to trust themselves, and work together as a team. She also loves being able to create a space where they feel supported, challenged, and excited to play.

Coach Alexis has been playing soccer since she was 4 years old, and continued through college and beyond. She spent 4 1/2 years in college playing defense and midfield at Texas Woman’s University, Richland College, and St. Mary’s University. She helped her college team reach the conference tournament, where she led in shots on goal as a defensive player, and was recognized for her consistency and leadership. The following year, they made program history by advancing to the NCAA tournament for the first time in 20 years! In 2022, she played in the WPSL with the San Antonio Corinthians, and since 2023, she’s competed with Austin Rise.

Coach Alexis is originally from Mesquite, Texas. She comes from a big family with 2 sisters and 4 brothers, and is especially close with her mom’s side. They’re always finding ways to stay connected and support each other. She also has a dog named Saint who’s full of personality and definitely keeps things fun. Outside of sports, she loves spending time with family and soaking up the little moments that matter most.
