Coaching Credentials:
Grassroots 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, & 11v11

“Coach Amadou” has been coaching soccer for 18 years and is starting his 8th season with PFC! He spent a couple of years coaching with the Lodestars, where he improved his skills in developing players and fostering a team-first mentality. In 2017, seeking new challenges and opportunities, and wanting to expand his coaching impact, he made the decision to join PFC. His favorite part of coaching is watching players develop on and off the field.

As a player, he was a midfielder. Most notably, he had the honor of playing in Mauritania's top professional soccer league, competing at the highest level in the country. His journey on the field also led him to represent the Mauritanian National Team at every youth level, showcasing his skills and dedication to the sport. Eventually, he earned a spot on the senior national team, where he had the privilege of competing internationally, and wearing the national colors with pride. These experiences not only shaped him as a player, but also instilled a deep sense of discipline and resilience. These are qualities that he carries with him to this day, both in soccer and in life.

Coach Amadou was born and raised in Mauritania! He soon developed a passion for traveling and discovering the world. In his early twenties, he moved to Austin to pursue an MBA in Finance and has been here since.
