“Coach Cruz-Cruz” has been coaching soccer for 30 years and is starting his 3rd season with PFC! He has coached at every level of soccer including Youth, College, National Youth, and National Adult teams. He coached for the U.S. Girls U14, U15, and U17 National teams. He was also a scout for the United States Soccer Federation for many years, and was a Professional Match Evaluator for the MLS for several years. Most notably, he was the assistant coach for the Jordanian Women's National Team that competed in the Asian Federation Qualification Cup, prior to the World Cup in France. His favorite part of coaching is seeing the players develop not only as soccer players, but as individuals.
As a player, he was a Center Forward starting with 3 years at Houston Baptist University, where he is in the Hall of Honor. There he received national MVP awards each year, and was listed as one of the Top Ten Freshmen of the NCAA in 1985. From 1989-1994, he played for:

Coach Cruz-Cruz played against all of the Argentine players who were the champions of the 1986 World Cup. Additionally, he was the leading goal scorer of all the teams he played for in Argentina, and won the most goals award of the Premier League in Argentina in 1992!
He is originally from Colombia, is happily married, and has 4 kids. His pet is a cat is named Dugley.
