Ron Mason

“Coach Ron” has been coaching soccer for 15 years and is starting his 1st season with PFC! He began volunteer coaching youth sports in Round Rock in 2010. After that, he coached several seasons at the Round Rock YMCA, and then in 2017, he began coaching youth basketball and soccer at the Hutto YMCA. In April 2025 he joined PFC. His favorite part of coaching is when he sees the light switches on, and the kids give him a little smile when they figure it out.

Coach Ron is originally from New York City. In March 1993, he was first stationed at Ft Hood in Texas. Him and his wife have 2 sons (ages 21 and 12). He is a proud Army Veteran who retired in 2011. In 2017, they moved to Pflugerville and have been been here ever since. They have a daschund named Ms. Weenie, and he’s a big collector of most things Superman. He has a GREAT sense of humor, and no one walks away from him without a smile on their face.
