Opening Day 2025!

Some of our amazing PAYSL players were excited to kick off their first game of the season!

On Saturday, September 6th, our PAYSL Recreational League held the first matches of the season! For the most part, the rain stayed away, and we were able to welcome smiling faces to our fields for a fun day of matches! There were giant signs, balloons, player tunnels, and most importantly, hours of laughter and cheering all over our beautiful City parks.

Additionally, CAYSA kicked off the first Academy blocks of the season, so our Academy kids were able to get in on the action! Teams from all over Central Austin gathered at parks in Pflugerville and Round Rock to share their love of competition and the game of soccer. Our Academy players have been working hard in practice on the field, and getting to know each other off the field by doing team bonding events and get-togethers as well. They were eager to show off what they’ve learned in the pre-season!

Special “THANKS” go out to all of our hard working volunteer and staff coaches who poured themselves into our all of our players. And also huge “THANKS” to all of the supportive friends and family members who kept the positive energy going; and made sure that players on both teams had an amazing first weekend.
