Pflugerville FC Teams Win Big in the South TX Fall 2025 Division II and III Playoffs
December 6-7 marked the end of the South Texas Fall Championship. Pflugerville FC had 3 teams advance into the playoffs this season, so let’s take a look at what it took to get there, and how they faired against the competition!
You may be wondering… how do the playoffs work, and how do you qualify? Lucky for you, I went down a rabbit hole so you don’t have to!
The first step is to do well enough in the regular season to qualify for the CAYSA Fall Championship.
Division II
Pflugerville FC’s 2015B White, led by Coach “Mo” Elhadary participated in the U11 boys division which had 14 teams broken into two brackets. They went 5-1 on the season giving them a 2nd place finish in their bracket, and qualifying them for the playoffs!
Division III
Pflugerville AYSL’s 2015B Hooligans, led by Coach Christian Barraza and Coach Evan Boulay participated in the HUGE U11 boys division with 31 teams broken into four brackets. This means they had to take 1st place in their bracket to qualify, and with an undefeated record of 7-0, they did just that!
Pflugerville AYSL’s 2014G Goal Busters, led by Coach Dustin Elliott and Coach Charles Jacquier, finished a solid 3rd place in their bracket of 7 teams qualifying them for the Fall Championship as well!
PAYSL 2015B Hooligans
Undefeated CAYSA DIII record of 7-0
Our three qualified teams battled it out in the CAYSA Fall Championships on the weekend of November 8-9. The teams needed to take either 1st or 2nd place in this event to advance to the STX Western District Championship. Once again, all three teams stepped up to the challenge and qualified for the next round!
Division II
Pflugerville FC’s 2015B White went undefeated in the event bringing their season record to 8-1, and securing 1st place.
Division III
Pflugerville AYSL’s 2015B Hooligans continued their undefeated streak with 2 wins and a tie which secured 1st place for them, and brought their season record to 9-0-1 .
Pflugerville AYSL’s 2014G Goal Busters impressively secured a 2nd place finish by defeating a team that they previously lost to during the regular season, and advanced to the next round.

These girls showed that hard work and determination pays off!
The South Texas Western District Championship is the final stop for Division III teams and we’re very proud of how they ended the season.
The Goal Busters put up a great fight against some even better competition and walked away with 4th place in all of South Texas Division III. Great job girls!
Meanwhile, the Hooligans continued to dominate all the way to the finals where they encountered their first loss of the entire season. Even then, they only lost by one single goal and finished the season 11-1-1. They walked away placing 2nd overall and we are so proud of them!
The Western District Championship is usually one more hurdle for Division II teams before the STYSA DII State Finals. Unfortunately due to 4 inches of rain and reschedules in the Eastern District, STYSA made the difficult decision to cancel the State Finals this year. However, had the Finals ensued, we are incredibly proud to celebrate that our boys would have been there representing us!
The PFC 2015B White team had yet another perfect event record. They won 3 pool play games before also winning the semis and the finals taking 1st place in the Western District; and bringing their season record to an impressive 13-1!

“Coach Mo led this team with incredible patience, positivity and a calm demeanor in times of frustration and stress this season. Coach Mo’s amazing attitude and care/support for our boys really shined through! Coach also let the boys douse him in Prime after the final game, even though it was absolutely freezing! What a trooper!”
