Will Bruin

“Coach Will” is just beginning his coaching journey with Pflugerville FC this year. He has previously worked with the Austin FC Academy U15 group while obtaining his B license. His favorite part of coaching is giving back to the players and the game.

“The game has given me so much throughout my youth years onto my professional years. I love to pass on the knowledge that I have accumulated onto the next generation of players.”

Coach Will brings a wealth of experience from his career as a Striker in college and professionally. He began his adult career at Indiana University where he played for 3 1/2 years. After that he began his professional career spending 6 years with Houston Dynamo, 6 years with Seattle Sounders, and 1 year with Austin FC. His accolades include:

• 80 Career goals

• 2 USMNT Caps

He is originally from St. Louis, MO. Him and his family moved to Austin in 2023 from Seattle, WA. His wife is Caitlin and they have 3 boys - Liam (6), Coen (4), and Grey (2); and one miniature golden doodle name Mollie. Liam plays in the PFC Academy and Coen is currently playing in the PAYSL Rec program.
