PFC SELECT TRYOUTS
All new & returning players are required to attend the Pflugerville FC Select Tryouts on May 13–15. Open to boys & girls born in 2006–14.
OUR PROGRAM
Pflugerville FC offers CAYSA Division-2, WDDOA Alpha, Challenger, and Prime, and State Classic League select soccer programs for players ages 11U–19U. This program is designed to provide a skill development path. It provides age and skill-appropriate soccer development progression at all competitive select levels.
Philosophy
The Pflugerville FC philosophy is based on the premise that team sports help develop talents and skills that will make a positive contribution in the development of the whole person through sportsmanship, physical and mental fitness.
Details
Players will register and commit for a seasonal year. The soccer year is composed of the Fall and Spring seasons. Registration will take place prior to the Fall season during the summer. Teams are primarily coached by licensed coaches who have a minimum of a U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coaching License and must get the U.S. Soccer D License within one year.
PFC GROWTH & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Since 2018, we've experienced a 100% increase in the number of teams (boys & girls) and continued to promote their level of play.
PFC Player Pathway
COMPETITiVE LEVELS
Super League of Austin - This is a competitive Select non-travel league. The goal is to offer a developmental league that is more convenient with travel within the Austin metro area.
Division 2 - This is the introductory level CAYSA league for competitive play. It’s comprised of the highest level Division III (Rec) teams looking to start Select play.
Alpha - This is the lowest level of WDDOA competitive teams and the introduction league to WDDOA.
Challenger - This mid-level WDDOA competitive bracket comprises lower level Prime teams and higher level Alpha teams.
Prime - This is the highest level of WDDOA competitive level. Comprised of highest level Division 1 teams.
State Classic League - This is the most competitive South Texas league, which provides a high-level of play between our top caliber Division I teams in both Eastern and Western Districts. This league will require the most travel for league play.
